X11 on BeOS is easy.....

Xbeos& change to another workspace fvwm2& (the X Window manager i ported/hacked across)

(you'll need libXpm for fvwm2) then:

xhost +somehost

on "somehost" export DISPLAY=someaddress:0.0

run X app on somehost. X app appears on your X BeOS session.......

Zeta apparently will have functioning X server and a rootless one will apparently be included. It's a major reason why i havent abandoned BeOS yet.

I just hope the release of Zeta is sometime soon. cheers peter
