Steve Sakoman worked for Apple from 1984 until 1990. He was involved with Apple II and Machintosh projects, also involved with the creation of the Newton. In 1991, Sakoman Co-founded Be Inc. He remained with Be, Inc. until 2001, when Be, Inc. passed to Palm Source. He returned to Apple in 2003 as the vice-president.
