Well, I'm not ashamed to admit, I am a BeOS newbie. Though I am quick to learn :P. I have felt very happy w/ BeOS ever since I purchased R4.5.2 back in '99. Even though I've bounced back and forth from BeOS to Windows, to QNX ect... trying to get a taste of what's out there BeOS of course, is where I'm at now : ) and I'm liking it!

In the late 80's I purchased my first PC 8086. Ran on 512k memory, no hard drive, just two floppy drives. Before that, I had played on an IBM PC jr. that my Father owned. I became versed somewhat in DOS and the likes.

I still get a hoot when I reflect back to my computer class in high school.....
The computers ran a application/program that ran on top of DOS. Well, bored off my axial I pressed Control -C, entered DOS ( which was never-the-less password protected.) Changed a few things. :P, but I did no harm. A few days later I was called from my english class to the computer class. The teacher asked me to change back the passwords, the school title and whatever I did. hehe. The very fact that the teacher loved me kept my little fanny from the principles office.
