Well, after much discussion in BeShare about doing another Workshop this year, I decided to announce that yes indeed, things are in the works to have another C++ and related workshop event.
I will be organizing it again, and making sure that times/dates/people/courses are all announced properly, and in time.
This year's workshops are going to focus on addressing the needs of the very new programmer who has stumbled onto BeOS, and wants to contribute in some fashion to the openBeOS movement. We will be having more advanced courses, but that is to be worked out before we let you know.
So, stay loose, and watch this space for more info.

This would rock! I've done the basic stuff(last workshop and that helped *so* much), interface kit and some other simple things, but some more advanced stuff, like multi-threading your apps, using the storage Kit, and more of the app kit like bloopers, bhandlers would be awesome! Simple but extensive examples in each case would be great!
The fantastic things about these workshops is it helps new coders learn about things and get interested in them. They can start with some code to hack and then learn heaps more.
Bring on the next Workshops! :D

I agree. That would be awesome. I know some programming but I haven't done much on BeOS (other than simple window apps). I would love to learn more through sometype of a workshop. Plus I want to help out the OpenBeOS effort.
