BeBootMan
Here you can find verious tips and tricks for the bootman command in BeOS!

If you want to dual boot BeOS and Linux or triple boot (Beos, Linux, and Windows) and your Linux distro is using lilo, the process is quite simple. However, you must first have a BeOS boot floppy on hand and make sure you back up your current boot menu. This might be dangerous to your booting, but if you can follow directions and are slightly coherent, this will be quite simple!

1.) Liloconfig

Boot into Linux, and run liloconfig. You can set it up however you want, when it asks you where you want the bootmenu installed, hit the root/superblock option.

This means it installs the menu on the linux partition itself so the partition is now bootable. But, we're not done yet!

2.) Boot Floppy

Then, run bootman as usual and make sure you have on the menu, the Linux partition you installed the boot menu on (usually this is your /. partition).

3.) Reboot

Reboot and see if it worked! try hitting Linux from the BeOS bootmenu and it should then take you to the Linux lilo boot menu!

Happy Booting! -cj171
